Tour Guide: Yasser Motaz

Just outside the edge of the city of Aswan lies Lake Nasser, created behind the Aswan High Dam. Colorful boats make their course to Agilkia Island, the site of the Philae Temple Complex.
The Philae Temple complex was painstakingly relocated from the flood plain behind of high dam in 1968.
Above: The Temple of Isis, said to be the burial place of Osiris.
The crimson colors of sunset fall on the banks of the Nile and Aswan's waterfront. |
