The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower was erected my Alexandre Gustave Eiffel as an engineering feat to dazzle the visitors of a world exposition in Paris in 1889.  The structure rises some 984 above the city below.

Little known is the fact that there is a grand and sumptuous party room at the very top. On the upper levels the curvature of the earth is readily apparent.
