Bornholm Island, Denmark   

Bornholm is an island situated east of Sweden.  The many battles to maintain this state as part of Denmark are documented in the Military Museum seen below.

The island is most noted for its unusual round Christian churches, which date back to the 11th century.

Pictured above and below the Church of St. Lawrence is the oldest round structure on the island.
