Thebean Hills      

The Thebean Hills contain a trove of ancient monuments, among which are the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (18th Dynasty). 

Smaller sites include the Tombs of the Nobles and the former city of the workers who created these architectural marvels.

Pictured right are the stalls of the souks or salesmen.  Bartering is can be a pastime in itself.
