The former home of Howard Carter dominates a hillside at the entrance to the Valley of the Kings.  Scouring this area for over twenty years, Carter made the famous   discovery of King Tutankhamen's Tomb in 1922.

Photography is forbidden in King Tutankhamen's tomb.  A postcard shows what the visitor sees today.

The treasures that once filled his tomb are now on display in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.  Below are photographs of the simulation of his tomb in the Pharanonic Village in Cairo.
